In addition to our core leadership circle, we have many more who are our extended management team, either as employees or as consultants that contribute to Greenspeak’s operations. Not all of them can be listed, but here are some of our core members.


Alexander Evered, Logistics Manager

At Greenspeak, Alex is responsible for making sure that all the pieces fit together for our events. He is always on the lookout for new and interesting venues and quality suppliers of services and products needed to deliver our camps.

He is a major film buff and a Camera Operator by training. He is also an accomplished photographer, hence he's naturally the person responsible for the photos and video productions for Greenspeak contents. He is well travelled throughout Asia having travelled in Thailand and Cambodia for some months and has had a recent photo project in Europe. He has great love for all things outdoors and really enjoys going out for swims in many lovely beaches in Australia.

Christina Tsartsafli, Chief Consultant, Greece

Christina is the advisor for Greenspeak’s operations in Greece. She has extensive teaching experience, and she has been a partner in an English school in Greece where she also teaches.Christina has many qualifications, a bachelor of social science degree, and a master’s of cultural studies, both from University of East London. In addition, she has obtained 2 year diploma in Speech Therapy from Katholiek Universiteit in Belgium, due to her particular interest in the special needs students. Her education and teaching experience adds great insight to the core group in developing our programs.

Mary-Anne O'Connor, Australia Kidzpeak Program Coordinator

Mary-Anne leads our Kidspeak team and is spearheading our campaign in schools, with the focus on educating school kids about the environment and conservation. With over twenty years in marketing and management, Mary-Anne enjoys applying her creative energies into designing fresh, innovative programs and has a great passion for teaching. Mary-Anne holds a Degree in Education with a specialization in Environmental Education and has considerable experience in teaching adults, teenagers and children. She has owned her own businesses and has enjoyed success as a presenter in the corporate arena. A mother of two young boys herself, she likes bushwalking and going to the beautiful local beaches in her hometown of Sydney with her husband Anthony.

Ryan Augustus, Australia Gradspeak Program Coordinator

Ryan is an experienced English language teacher with a degree in modern languages from the University of Bath. He has worked on English language projects in Europe and the Middle East including a summer school project for the Georgian government. Since joining Greenspeak Australia he has discovered the pleasures of bush walking and taken up surfing.

Anthony Richard, Australia Bizspeak Program Coordinator

Anthony has 5 years experience teaching environmental education, having most recently worked at on the Australian Government program 'Keep Australia Beautiful'. He has a bachelors degree in Environmental Management and a Post-graduate diploma in Environmental Education from Macquarie University. He is currently undergoing a masters degree in Sustainable Development. He has been involved in a volunteer program in Vietnam, working in both a national park and an orphanage.

Rachel Spinks, Educator

Rachel is an experienced environmental educator, with a bachelors degree in Marine Science from Macquarie University, in Sydney Australia. She is passionate about the environment, with a particular interest in fish and reptiles. Rachel has traveled far and wide, she has most recently studied and lived in Norway. She has also done a month long volunteer placement at a wildlife sanctuary in Guatemala. She speaks English, beginners Norwegian and Spanish. Ashleigh Wyett, Educator

Ashleigh completed a bachelor of science degree in Biology and Human Geography from Macquarie University. She also did a student exchange program to San Diego. She worked as an environmental educator for AUSECO for two years where she was very popular with the school children. Ashleigh has traveled to Mexico, Japan and parts of Europe. She loves sports and the outdoors, and enjoys playing soccer.

Michelle Shackleton, Educator

Michelle did her bachelors, honours and research masters degrees at the Australian National University in Canberra, and just completed her post-graduate diploma in Sustainable Development at Macquarie University in Sydney. She worked for a local Chinese environmental NGO in Beijing for a year, and has been volunteering at sustainable education events for a her university and a variety of NGOs in Australia since then.
