Unique features of Bizspeak
We have built this program around some fundamentals principles:
- Bizspeak selects themes for our tours that will appeal to active, fun people and provide an opportunity to build on existing skills or focus on specific aspects of local culture. Examples of this include; golfing, surfing, photography and fishing.
- Bizspeak caters for small groups, with a maximum of 10 people with an ESL Guide travelling in a professionally-driven luxury mini-bus. This means that our guides can build a close relationship with each attendee so we can accommodate different levels of English language skills. We also select local restaurants and cafes that serve a wide range of cuisines, so you can learn about local wines and food in a fun and relaxed environment.
- Bizspeak uses the renowned Content Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) method, that teaches recreational subjects entirely in English with an ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher as a guide. Through this method, Bizspeak helps you improve your English language skills quickly, while enjoying activities you are passionate about in some of the world's most beautiful locations. For more information on the CLIL method of teaching, click here.
- Bizspeak builds our lessons into the activities and tour itself, so lesson time is fully integrated. Imagine learning English while having a picnic in a vineyard with a chilled glass of crisp white wine!
Tour Attendees come from many different countries, and all ethnicities and religions are very welcome. Bizspeak makes sure our tours provide a very personalised experience. English language is the common medium of all communication, in the specific English language lessons as well as all the recreational activities.
Our focus is to develop friendship, respect and understanding between people from different countries and cultures. We try to make sure that we maintain a balance on each tour between attendees from different countries and cultures to improve English as the medium of communication but with all the advantages of a fun-filled holiday.
Our English as a Second Language (ESL) Guides
are carefully recruited for their experience in their chosen field of English language (Environmental Science, Leadership, and other specialist areas) with many teachers having qualifications in multiple disciplines. However we also make sure that they are naturally warm and responsive, delivering their teachings with enthusiasm and care to ensure the maximum benefit to each attendee.
Every host country is managed by a senior professional manager who is capable of dealing with the logistics of multiple tours, manages all local staff, and ensures superior quality in delivery.
We also have a Head of Local Curriculum to make sure that our content takes full advantage of the specific tour locations. All of our individual guides have first aid certificates and well as ESL qualifications, and of course a passion for the specific theme and the environment.
