Greenspeak Promise

Our Gradspeak Programs have created a very special learning environment for our students. We make sure they have fun, make new international friendships, broaden their horizons and increase their self-confidence and learner autonomy.
Our camps are situated in some of the most scenic locations in each of the countries in which we operate – we have selected camps to make sure we have safe access to a wide variety of activities as well as cultural and historic attractions. After 8 weeks of fun and stimulating learning and activity in a natural outdoors environment, our students return healthy and refreshed ready to tackle their studies or work with renewed enthusiasm, confidence and determination.
As young travelers we understand the concern you (and your parents) feel for you traveling away from home. We are also experienced travelers, as are many of our teachers and camp supervisors and therefore we have made every effort to ensure the safety and comfort of students from when they leave home until they return. We know that keeping in contact is important so we have specifically built into our calendars time for getting touch and have equipment available for students to be in contact via email, instant messaging or phone. Of course if needed families can contact us directly on our 24 hour hotline.
We put the safety of our students #1!
Our students come from many different countries, and all races and religions are very welcome. Our camps provide a very personalized experience and so we only have a maximum of 30 on each camp. English is the common medium of all communication, in the classroom as well as on excursions and all activities. Friendship, care and understanding grow between young people from the different countries and cultures. We make sure that we maintain a balance in each camp between the students from different countries and cultures and create a healthy mix in rooms and group activities. All of this ensures that English is the medium of communication on the course but with all the advantages of a closely supervised residential program. We encourage students to remain in contact with each other and with our overall program, and because we have such a range of different camps in different countries it provides an opportunity for students to re-attend, learning about different aspects of culture and science.
We have camps and tours for all different ages through Kidzspeak, Gradspeak and Bizspeak, so that there are programs are available as students mature and develop.
Our teachers and staff are carefully recruited for their experience in their chosen field of English language or Environmental Science with many having qualifications in both disciplines. However we also make sure that they are naturally warm and responsive, delivering their teachings with enthusiasm and care to ensure the maximum benefit to each student. The ratio between staff and students is amongst best practice, which is at least one staff member for every eight students, so that there is individual attention. Each Country is managed by a senior professional manager, capable of dealing with the logistics of multiple camps and tours, manages all staff and ensures superior quality in delivery. We also have a Head of Local Curriculum to make sure that our content takes full advantage of the specific camp environments. Each individual camp has a qualified Camp Supervisor who is also the Head of Teaching, we have multiple qualified ESL Teachers as well as Environmental Guides and all our staff have first aid certificates. Lastly, all our staff attend detailed pre and post camp briefings so we can continually review and improve the quality of each camp and tailor it to the specifics of the camps attendees.
