Course structure

The course consists of Writing, Reading, Listening and Speaking lessons.  Once enrolled, materials for the lessons are available by email or online for downloading to be completed in your own time!  For Writing and Reading lessons, students complete tasks to be submitted to your teacher for review, correction and comment.  Listening lessons require students to listen to downloaded audio material and complete worksheets for review and correction.  Finally, the Speaking lessons will be conducted online, talking with one of our fully qualified and enthusiastic teachers.

The course is suitable for Intermediate English language proficiency and above.  After an initial English proficiency assessment, students will be assigned to the language Unit level best suited to them.  After the successful completion of each Unit, students will be reassessed to check their progress and assigned to new levels as appropriate.

Each Unit is comprised of five Lesson Blocks.  Each Lesson Block has two lessons (45-60 mins to complete) focussing on Reading, Writing and listening, and one speaking lesson (20-30 mins depending on the number of students participating in a lesson).  Student numbers on speaking lessons are purposely kept small with some being done individually and some being done in small groups of 4-5, to ensure maximum interaction and benefit for the student.
