The most pressing problem faced by our planet today, more profound than even the economic crisis, is the health of the planet itself. Long-term sustainable practices and a strategy on how to support the environment is an issue that political, business, and educational leaders must understand. Furthermore they m ust become active participants if we are to be successful in addressing this challenge. This is no longer a problem that can be left as other people’s responsibility, it is a problem that we all need to take personal responsibility to address. The first step for each of us is to get an appreciation for the environment, an understanding of how fragile it is and how we can live in it sustainably.

The good news is that the environmental agenda is already a main topic of interest for an ever increasing number of CEO’s from major companies, as well as the government officials and political leaders o f many countries. This is not just because of legislation or political pressure, it is because it also makes good economic sense. It is no longer something we want to do, it is something we must do.

Develop Green Leadership

At Greenspeak we know that for the future generations understanding our environment and the awareness of the challenges we are facing will be a foundation skill for managers and leaders at all levels. They must learn to appreciate the world we live in and be able to articulate a vision that can be shared by many to promote the long-term health of our planet.
